Other reviews are wrong! We were concerned about staying here due to the bad reviews that said it smells. We can definitely say the hallways and rooms don't smell. The rooms are clean, no bedbugs, or other problems. Don't get me wrong, this is a value hotel, so if you want the Wynn (or similar) go to the Wynn and pay 10x more. However, it's great to be able to go from your room to the casino, restaurants, your car, the pool, etc. with only a few minute walk in contrast with some of the huge properties. It's nice looking but I still prefer the old Ellis Island. I liked it better when it felt more homie and local. I know things have to change but still liked it when the dealers lip sync and and the dealers have personalities. I just believe the quality of service has gone down. This the casino! It's really nice inside now but it lost its personality!

Beware if you plan to have packages delivered to this hotel. During my stay, I specifically coordinated with hotel staff to arrange for a package to be delivered while I was there. They confirmed they were aware of it and that it wouldn’t be an issue. Amazon later confirmed the package was delivered to the hotel. However, when I asked the front desk about it, no one seemed to know anything about it. I followed up multiple times and spoke with several managers, but the responses were extremely unhelpful.
