While in Vegas we searched for a highly recommended steak house that was off the beaten path and not just a trendy fad. We decided to try Herbs and Rye. What a great decision. Such a beautiful classic steakhouse decor. Not too dark clean and inviting. Our server was Debbie and she was friendly and informative. The food delicious. Steak cooked to perfection and flavorful. The sides were a bit small in proportion but also delicious. I would definitely go back and recommend this steakhouse.
Herbs & Rye completely lived up to the hype...and then some. I went based on a Lyft driver’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I trusted a local. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place takes pride in every detail. The energy in the room said it all, every table around us was clearly enjoying their meals. We even spoke with someone next to us who works in the industry and was visiting for the first time because coworkers had been raving about it. I had a truly enjoyable dinner featuring the double-cut pork chop and the New York strip steak, and both were outstanding. The pork chop was thick, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with excellent flavor and tenderness throughout. The New York strip delivered exactly what you’d expect from a quality steakhouse cut—well-seared on the outside, rich and beefy on the inside, and incredibly satisfying. The French onion soup deserves special mention. It was deeply flavorful, with a rich, well-developed broth and a generous layer of melted cheese that complemented the sweetness of the onions perfectly. C
